How do I create a Dovetail?
  • To create an effective lab day time schedule you will need to develop a work plan first.
    • Not every preparations step needs your undivided attention. You could, for example, make a tossed salad while chicken pieces are roasting.
  • Dovetail means to overlap tasks to use your time more efficiently.
  • Dovetailing is especially important when you are preparing a whole meal.
    • Example: While you keep an eye on the cooking eggs, you can mix the orange juice.
